100% Kenyan-owned. KSC is designing launch vehicles, spaceport infrastructure, and satellite systems as one integrated architecture, developed in Kenya and built for orbit.
Mission
KSC is building the infrastructure required to give Kenya, and the continent, responsive and sovereign access to space. We develop the vehicle, the launch site, and the spacecraft as one coordinated system.

Heritage
Between 1964 and 1988, rockets rose from platforms off Malindi, Kenya. In 1970, Uhuru, the first satellite dedicated to X-ray astronomy, launched from these waters on Kenya's Independence Day. This coast has already opened a road to orbit. KSC is building the systems that take Kenya back.
